Dr Daniels recently returned from the meeting of PROS state coordinators in Chicago. PROS is currently in the process of developing a subsection of PROS, "ePROS." This subsection will direct attention to studies that can best be done in an electronic medical record. Initially, this endeavor will be piloted in small independent practices and Acorn Pediatrics has been chosen to be one of the early practices involved in the new research method. There is minimal research information available with electronic medical records in pediatrics. This is a unique opportunity to participate in this potentially groundbreaking research.
